MATLAB: Do UIControl components disappear after using App Designer Migration Tool in R2019b to migrate GUIDE app

Question

I experienced an error when migrating a GUIDE app to App Designer using the "GUIDE to App Designer Migration Tool" found at the following link:

All of the old UIControl components (buttons, radio buttons, checkboxes, edit fields, text areas, list boxes, dropdowns, sliders, toggle buttons, and text labels) are missing in App Designer.

This a bug in version 19.2.0 of the "GUIDE to App Designer Migration Tool for MATLAB", which has subsequently been fixed in version 19.2.1.

To resolve the issue, uninstall version 19.2.0 of the tool and reinstall the tool to get the latest version (i.e. version 19.2.1 or later). Refer to the following link for the latest updates and for more information:
