MATLAB: Who owns the rights to images created with MATLAB (student license)

I've read that the student license not allow the commercial use of MATLAB. Would this also include, for example, producing plots and images with MATLAB and then including those in a monetized YouTube video? If so, would this still be the case if those images produced were released separately under something like creative commons?

A few years ago I noticed that one of the local electronics store was advertising "Free iPad!" with fine print "with purchase of selected models of 50 inch television or larger". The iPad was, in other words, not free at all.
You cannot use MATLAB Student license to earn money, period. It is not enough to give away copies of the images created using MATLAB: you need to not have used MATLAB to make the monetized product. Not even for the preparation work or proof of concept, at least not with the deliberate intent of monetizing. You may only use the student license for assignments and learning related to your courses or other educational requirements.
It does not even matter that you "could have" used some other program to produce the images that are included in what you monetize: it matters that you do use some other program to produce the images... Or that you pay Mathworks for a commercial/professional license.
