Check the following out, this should help:

   i_close =(gi,se2);

This isn't valid MATLAB. Should there be a function call here, or are you trying to concatenate? Eg

   i_close = functionname(gi,se2);
   i_close = [gi,se2];

bb = vertcat(probs.BoundingBox);
idx = bb(:,3) <0.5;
