MATLAB: What is the difference between running the Image Acquisiton Toolbox with Matrox Imaging MIL and MIL-Lite software

Image Acquisition Toolbox

I am interested in purchasing the Image Acquistion Toolbox and a Matrox Imaging frame grabber. Your web site says that either MIL or MIL-Lite software is required to function with the Matrox Imaging boards. I would like to know if there is a difference between the two.

This enhancement has been incorporated in Release 2006b (R2006b). For previous product releases, read below for any possible workarounds:
The Matrox Imaging Library (MIL) is a software development toolkit for machine vision, medical imaging, and image analysis. MIL-Lite is freely redistributable version of the MIL library that provides image capture, display and archiving capabilities. Either MIL or MIL-Lite can be used with Matrox Imaging frame grabbers and the Image Acquisition Toolbox.
