What compilers are supported for the Motorola DSP Developer's Kit 1.1 (R12.1)?

I am using the Motorola DSP Developer's Kit 1.1 (R12.1) and get the following error message when trying to compile DSP MEX files with Borland C++ Builder 5 (bcc32 5.5.1).

 LIBSIMCORE300.LIB' contains invalid OMF record, type 0x21 (possibly COFF)

The Motorola DSP Developer's Kit 1.1 (R12.1) only supports Visual C++ version 6.0 or greater for the PC, and the Solaris compiler for Solaris. Other compilers were not tested, and therefore, are not supported. We recommend that you use Microsoft Visual C++ with the Motorola DSP Developer's Kit 1.1 (R12.1).

I believe you intended semicolons (;) instead of colons (:) in your matrix definition.

To convert it to a vector, use the reshape function:

Matrix = [1,1,1,1; -1,-1,-1,-1; 1,1,1,1];
Vector = reshape(Matrix', 1, [])
Vector =
       1     1     1     1    -1    -1    -1    -1     1     1     1     1
