MATLAB: Synthesis tool not integrated to MATLAB

I want to cosimulate 16 point ifft on Spartan-3e. I have Matlab 2010 and ISE synthesis 12.3 installed. In "HDL workflow Advisor" I get HDL code but when i select FPGAimplementation there is no Synthesis tool option to perform it.

It doesn't look like Xilinx ISE 12.3 is officially supported (see http://www.mathworks.com/help/toolbox/slhdlcoder/bsv_x0g.html). But have you already used hdlsetuptoolpath to setup the synthesis tool path in MATLAB?

There are two ways that you can do this:

Add Xilinx to your Windows path before starting up MATLAB
Use hdlsetuptoolpath to add the path for your ISE installation to your currently running MATLAB session.

For your case you would invoke hdlsetuptoolpath as:

 >> hdlsetuptoolpath('ToolName', 'Xilinx ISE', 'ToolPath', 'D:\Xilinx\ISE_DE\ISE\bin\nt\ise.exe')

MATLAB: Which Xilinx Vivado edition do I need to install for use with HDL Coder or HDL Verifier

For use with HDL Coder or HDL Verifier, either the WebPACK or Design Edition of Vivado are sufficient.

Which of the two editions you need depends on the FPGA device that you are targeting:

The no-cost WebPACK only supports a limited subset of FPGA devices and architectures, including popular evaluation boards such as Zedboard or Xilinx ZC702. A list of all architectures supported by Vivado WebPACK can be found here: https://www.xilinx.com/products/design-tools/vivado/vivado-webpack.html#architecture
A licensed Design Edition of Vivado is required for the more powerful FPGAs and evaluation boards, such as Xilinx ZC706, ZCU102 MPSoC, or the Virtex family,

Xilinx products that you do not need for our workflows include: Model Composer, System Generator for DSP, Vivado HLS.

Also note that Vivado Lab Edition is not supported.
