MATLAB: Simulink default color style

How can I change the default color style of Simulink editor, such as background/foreground color, and screen color(i.e. when I insert a block, it will be the color I set, not black/white)?

When I write GUIs I usually specify the minimum property descriptions necessary for each style, then at the end of my initialization code I call a custom function to set my standard defaults.

This function takes no arguments (except optionally a figure handle for limiting the search), but uses FINDALL to parse through each style of uicontrol and assign the defaults like fontsize, backgroundcolor, etc.

It sounds like you could benefit from writing such a function too!

I didn’t test this because I don’ want to change my installation or current property values, but see the documentation for Default Property Values.

Specifically, see if:

set(groot,'defaultFontName','Parchment')

or to some font more to your liking does what you want.
