Hello. I have 3D scattered data (x,y,z,v). I want to interpolate this data to 50% more points. The points are not random but actually form the surface of a cylinder. I am trying to use scatteredInterpolant but I get the following warning message
Warning: The underlying triangulation is empty - the points may be coplanar or collinear.
when I try to finally interpolate the values. Below is the code, if it matters.
x1 = A{1}(:,1);y1 = A{1}(:,2);z1 = A{1}(:,3);x2 = B{1}(:,1);y2 = B{1}(:,2);z2 = B{1}(:,3);quantity = OSI_60_cycles(:,end);F = scatteredInterpolant(x1,y1,z1,quantity);Vq = F(x2,y2,z2);
Can anyone please help me out on this?
The variables are attached incase anyone wants to try on their own.
