MATLAB: Plotting Problems with values bigger than…

Hi, i want to plot the Values of A that are bigger than 10 in the same figure with Red stars. The Problem is that, for the values for A greater than 10 i get 1 and i want the actual Value of A.

                  plot(date,A,date,A1)
                  datetick('x','mmm-dd','keepticks');
                  xlabel('Datum','FontSize',14)
                  hold on;
                  plot(date,(A > 10),'r*', 'LineWidth',2,'MarkerSize',13);
