MATLAB: Plot the following functions using axes that will produce a stright line

Can someone show me how to plot the following functions using axes that will produce a stright-line plot using Use the range 0 \< x \< 10

1) The power function y= 2x^-0.5 2) The exponential function y= 10^(1-x)

In the first case you can use loglog():

x = 1:0.1:10;
y = 2*x.^(0.5);
loglog(x,y)

In the second case you can use semilogy();

x = 1:0.1:10;
y = 10.^(1-x);
semilogy(x,y)

Just get the coordinates

[rows, columns] = find(grayImage < 128);

Then find the max and min:

row1 = min(rows);
row2 = max(rows);
% Find average column
meanColumn = int32(mean(columns));

Then draw the line

grayImage(row1:row2, meanColumn) = 0;

You could use figure to create three separate figures:

x = linspace(0,10);
y=x.^3;
figure()
semilogx(x,y);
figure()
semilogy(x,y);
figure()
loglog(x,y);

Or alternatively three subplots on one figure using subplot:

figure()
subplot(2,2,1)
semilogx(x,y);
subplot(2,2,2)
semilogy(x,y);
subplot(2,2,3)
loglog(x,y);
