Hello I am using MATLAB 2017a. I have used "pidtune" function in MATLAB previous versions. However, in MATLAB 2017a, the system can not find "pidtune". Did I miss something? Thanks, Bo

Open the PID Controller block dialog, and press the "tune" button.You get the PID Tuner app open and it says that it could not find the stabilizing controller.
Reduce the response time by clicking on the "slower" button in the top slider twice. You get this:
Press "Update block" to apply the gains.

Click ok, run the simulation and look at the reference and feedback signals:
Looks like controller is doing a good job.

Export the compensator you designed, C, to MATLAB workspace. Then in MATLAB type
C=pid(C)This will convert the compensator from a transfer function to a PID object. You can then access the gains as shown below.
