Hello, is it possible to obtain the signal units associated with a port, post compilation? I am trying to find a property similar to CompiledPortDataType, but for units. What would be the correct way to programmatically obtain the units associated with an arbitrary line once the model has been compiled?

There are two inputs. One has the unit N and the other has the unit m. The unit Nm is obtained as the result of each multiplication.
However, the Product block does not automatically add units to the calculation result. This is a Simulink specification. If you want to give the unit explicitly, you need to set the unit attribute using Simulink.Signal object etc.

You can access the port width, data type, and dimensions of individual blocks in a Simulink model by using the GET_PARAM function and the following properties:
"CompiledPortDataType"
"CompiledPortWidth"
"CompiledPortDimensions"
The simulation has to be running or compiled in order for the above properties to return the correct value. You can "compile" the model and then use the GET_PARAM command as follows:-
modelname([],[],[],'compile')q=get_param(gcb,'PortHandles');get_param(q.Inport,'CompiledPortDataType')get_param(q.Inport,'CompiledPortWidth')modelname([],[],[],'term')where modelname is the name of your Simulink model.
