MATLAB: Multivariate regression in a loop

I got a matrix A (1×15) with each cell containing 524 x 4 of data, and a Y matrix containing 524 x1 data. I was going for :

For i = 1:15 mdl{i} = LinearModel.fit(A{1,i},Y) end I always end up having a matrix 1×15 with empty cell

Nr = size(p,1);
mdl = cell(Nr, 1);
for K = 1 : Nr
   these_cols = p(K,:);
   thisA = A(:,these_cols);
   mdl{K} = fitlm(thisA, Y);
end

Or you could do this more compactly with

v = [1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9];
p = nchoosek(v,3);
Nr = size(p,1);
mdl = cell(Nr, 1);
for K = 1 : Nr
  mdl{K} = fitlm( A(:,p(K,:)), Y);
end

The fitted models are mdl{1}, mdl{2}, mdl{3}, ...

MATLAB: How to do multiple regression (i = 1:15) in a loop

This worked for me:

% Some pretend data
A = cell(1,15);
for i=1:15
    A{i} = rand(524,4);
end
Y = rand(524,1);
% Do the fits
for i = 1:15
    mdl{i} = LinearModel.fit(A{1,i},Y);
end
