MATLAB: Multiple loop do not loop

does not loopfor loop

i have this data table :

1 6

2 5

3 8

4 4

5 7

6 9

i used this code to read the table from 1st col to 2nd col. However, the loop doesnt read for 2nd loop.

for n1=i:noofcol
    for n2=j:noofrow
        data(j,i)
        j=j+1;
    end
    i=i+1
end

for i=1:noofcol
    for j=1:noofrow

e.g.

temp = randi(40,5)
rho2=(1-((temp+288.9414)./(508929.2*(temp+68.12963))).*((temp-3.9863).^2))*1000

You could try the following.

J=5;
while J<13
    if J>=7
        j=1:6;
    else
        j=1:J;
    end
    z=63*pi.*(J-j); %piecewise multiplication
    disp(z)
    J=J+1;
end

This satisfies the conditions of j less than or equal to J and j less than 7.

Note the .* operation (see link)

When j is not changing in size, i.e. after the first two iterations of the loop, you could in fact get a solution therein without any loops:

j=1:6;
J=[7:13]';
z=63*pi.*(J-j)
