MATLAB: MorphoSmart™ Série 300 (MSO Série 300) fingerprint reader SDK

Hello , Im new in this domain of biometric , and someone borrow me the fingerPrint reader "MorphoSmart™ Série 300 (MSO Série 300)" and we don't have the SDK. i have just installed the driver . so the materiel is know in my computer.

My question : – is there any open SDK that can help to interface with reader . – i want to read my fingerpint for test the the materiel. How shall i proceed – can MATLAB help if i don't hev the Reader SDK .

MATLAB: 300dpi or 300dpcm

It's DPI, based on the documents provided by MathWorks here: https://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/ref/print.html#inputarg_resolution

This is what they say:

"Resolution, specified as a character vector or a string containing -r and an integer value indicating the resolution in dots per inch. For example, '-r300' sets the output resolution to 300 dots per inch. To specify screen resolution, use '-r0'."

Doesn't say anything about dpcm, which would make unit conversion confusing actually...

If you want to use dpcm, you'd have to calculate and use the dpi equivalent.

Here I have set the width and height to be 200. Resolution is set to 300dpi. To set the properties(“paperunnits” and “paperposition”) of the image, you could use the “set” function. “print” function is used to set the resolution to 300dpi.|
