MATLAB: Microsoft Kinect V2 with Matlab Image Acquisition Toolboxkinectkinect v1kinect v2 Hallo, I would like to use the Microsoft Kinect V2 with the Matlab Image Acquisition Toolbox . Is this possible or do I have to use the Kinect V1 model? Thanks a lot! Best Answer The Image Acquisition Toolbox does not support Microsoft Kinect V2 as of release R2014b. You will have to continue working with V1 model. Thanks, Sandip Related SolutionsMATLAB: Kinect Xbox 360 on Matlab R2016b MATLAB does not offer support for Kinect for xbox 360. The hardware supported page just makes mention of Kinect v2 and Kinect for Windows v1.https://www.mathworks.com/hardware-support/kinect-windows.html MATLAB: Kinect V2 iinterface in R2015b According to http://www.mathworks.com/help/imaq/installing-the-kinect-for-windows-sensor-support-package.html it requires Connect for Windows 1.6 . If I read other pages correctly then Connect for Windows 2.0 would be required for Kinect v2 support, so my interpretation is that the Mathworks support has not been designed to handle v2.I also see that Microsoft stopped producing Kinect for Windows v2 as of spring 2015, which leaves me questioning whether Mathworks will ever do v2 support. They might -- it might be someone's pet project.
