MATLAB: Max number of checked checkboxes/radiobuttons

Hi i have GUI with 18 checkboxes/radiobuttons. Dont know what is better for me…Is there way to set that only two of them can be checked at the same time?? Thanks.

Only by using the callbacks to check and enforce it.

checkbox2State = get(handles.checkbox2, 'Value');
checkbox3State = get(handles.checkbox3, 'Value');

Here you're passing 2 input arguments. However, the definition of 'VmaxBts_Callback' expects 3:

function VmaxBts_Callback(hObject, eventdata, handles)

Looks like you need to pass the handles structure.
