MATLAB: Matlab R12 Student version Image

installationMATLABmatlab r12 student version

Hello, I bought several years ago the Matlab + Simulink R12 Student version (as attachment you have the customer letter copy from Matlab).
I moved to a new portable PC with no external CD, so I should use one CD image to run it.
I tried to register my license on the Matlab site, but Matlab Licence command get me only STUDENT as answer, no licence or activation key.
How can I get the CD image for Matlab R12 to start the software on my PC?
I'm planning to buy the latest version of Matlab, but before to move on I still have some applications build on the oldest release and these doesn't work on the recent version (I checked with the trial version).
Thank you for your help,

Yes, it might take some tweaking of the code to get it to work on the new version. Some of the old functions may have been removed or operate differently.
Call the Mathworks on Monday if you have trouble getting your older student version to work on your new computer. They have free and fast telephone help for installation, even for the student version.
