MATLAB: Matlab doesnt save the work but I can find it from the “current folder” tab. How can this be possible

codefolderMATLABsavetab

I save my work in the "save as" window, creating a new folder and saving my code in it. Later, i try to find my code in the folder that I created but it's not there, like Matlab hadn't save my work. I open Matlab and I find the folder and the save file in the "current folder" tab, like I only can see it from the program, and not from the windows explorer. (English is not my mother language, please forgive me)
I made an image trying to explain it better:
I can't continue with my work due to this, I need help desesperately.

You're in a folder "Matlab" in the SaveAs dialog, not in "Matlab R2012a".
It looks like it did precisely what you asked for in the Explorer view to me.
I'm guessing you really want the "Matlab R2012a" directory is the actual installation and the other is either an older previous installation or an accident and isn't in the MATLABPATH variable which is why it doesn't appear to exist in your command window.
