MATLAB: Matlab crash CPU overload MAC OSX

crashmac osxMATLABr2016a

I have used an earlier version of matlab on this computer before and it worked fine. Now I am trying to run matlab trail R2016a on a mac computer. Immediately when i start matlab it starts consume a lot of CPU and freezes back and forth, it is nearly impossible to use the program. What is wrong?
In the yellow field it indicates that it is "processing" but it never finishes?

Although I think it is supposed to be repaired by now, it is worth going in to Preferences and turning off Source Code Control: that was the cause of that kind of behavior on Mac on a couple of versions.
