MATLAB: Matlab Become Very Slow After Weka

Hi, i was set maxheap in the RunWeka.ini for Weka become 4000m. It is because of my Weka always OutOfMemory for Machine Learning's training. So the Weka can run normaly without OutOfMemory message now.

But after that, my Matlab become very slow and the accuracy of training data if very decreased. I am using Matlab R2016b.

It is weird…

Is this problem would be done by reinstalling Matlab?

Please help….

After i reinstall Matlab, my problem has gone.

Now, Matlab's perfomance is normal.

Thus, i was increase Matlab's Java heap memory size into maximal :

Preference menu bar > General > Java Heap Memory

Matlab will use more memory if you need more memory. It's not capped at 1 GB. To test this, try:

>> memory
>> a = rand(20000);
>> memory

You'll notice that the memory usage by Matlab increases

You can increase the Java Heap Memory in MATLAB to allow MATLAB to use more memory.

To increase the Java Heap Size from MATLAB desktop, select:

Home tab -> Preferences -> General -> Java Heap Memory
