MATLAB: Matlab 2013b does not have websave function

Hi.

I am using Matlab 2013b, I want to get all the data from url and save it into files. Then I checked websave is the right function. But when I use it or try to check help it says: "not defined function websave"…is it because I a, usign 2013b verison? How can I solve this? Thanks a lot.

WEBSAVE was introduced in MATLAB R2014b. Please have a look at the URLWRITE function for MATLAB R2013b.

This error is indicating that the file does not exist or that there are no write permissions to this file.

In this case, there are no write permissions only at the exact instant the websave is called in the parfor loop and not otherwise.

This is because the file is being saved and deleted from a Dropbox folder. If the Dropbox folder is connected to the internet, it will constantly be syncing. This can cause delays in when files are saved and deleted and can therefore cause write issues.

Save the files to a local folder or turn off the Dropbox connection to the internet so it does not automatically sync.

MATLAB: Pass variables into set(frt,’WindowButtonDownFcn’,@mousePos)

set(frt, 'WindowButtonDownFcn', {@mousePos, data} )

and

function mousePos(hObject, ~, data)

Note: this will use the value of "data" as of the time the callback is created, and will not reflect any updates to "data" that are made after that.
