Hi, so i have this problem … When i run MCR 7.14 installer first it checks if vcredist is installed (it is so at first i thought its outdated version or something) so i've let the installer download vcredist executable and ran it, but immediately i got error message and MCR installer shut down. And no, reinstalling vcredist separately dind't solve it, i also tried x86 and x64 vcredist, i have admin rights, antivirus is disabled and uac is disabled. Seems to me like MCR installer is not checking if vcredist_x86 is installed but it's forcing it and cannot continue without it.
MATLAB: Matlab 2010b won’t install MCR due to vcredist_x86 error
