MATLAB: MALAB gets stuck in finding unlicensedfunctions

If I misspell a variable or function name, MATLAB is not giving error promptly. It gets stuck for 2 to 3 minutes to find unlicensed functions before coming out with error or suggestion. Very frustrating.
