MATLAB: Legend does not appear in the report with Report Explorer

Hi all,

I have a report, in the code it says that the legend should appear and I also see it while it pops up while generating. However it does not appear in the actual report. What am I doing wrong?

I used axes snapshot instead of figure snapshot! Sorry!! Greetings

The Report Generator DOM API is a new way of creating custom reports. It is more powerful than the old Report Explorer App and does not incur the memory overhead/limitation that the previous Java based tool does. At some point, the original Java based Report Explorer will be discontinued – replaced by a new report tool based on the DOM API. 

Suggest you use Report and DOM APIs for report generation. 

MATLAB: Adjust distance between snapshot and caption (report generator)

Hi Martin,

You can customize the Figure reporter's template to adjust the distance between the generated figure and caption by updating the p.FigureImage style in the CSS.

Please refer to the below code:

% Create a custom Figure reporter template
customTemplate = mlreportgen.report.Figure.createTemplate('myTemplate','pdf');
% Unzip the custom template
unzipTemplate(customTemplate);
% In myTemplate\stylesheets\root.css, reduce the margin-bottom of p.FigureImage style
%    p.FigureImage {
%        margin-bottom: 1pt;
%    }
% Zip back the custom template
zipTemplate(customTemplate);
% Use this custom template for the Figure reporter
fig = Figure();
fig.TemplateSrc = customTemplate;
