Hey so i just read that MAtlab R2015b has just been released. but before purchasing it, i want to ask if Microsoft Kinect V2 is supported by it. 2015a does not support it.
I also see that Microsoft stopped producing Kinect for Windows v2 as of spring 2015, which leaves me questioning whether Mathworks will ever do v2 support. Theymight -- it might be someone's pet project.
Mathworks does not publicly discuss release dates of future features, except that sometimes when the feature is already in beta testing the information leaks out in the Answers forum.
You can ask your Mathworks sales agent if they will tell you the date.
(I have no information on the topic myself, other than "future release". If I did know then I would be under Non-Disclosure Agreement and would not be able to say what I knew.)
