MATLAB: Issue running Simulink Upgrade Advisor

I am using Simulink in R2017b to run the model found here: http://ctms.engin.umich.edu/CTMS/Content/InvertedPendulum/Simulink/Modeling/Pend_Model.slx

When the model did not compile simulink advised me the model was out of date and I should run the upgrade advisor. The upgrade advisor provides me with a write error, see attached screenshot. Any advice on how to resolve this would be appreciated.

Try running the upgrade advisor on your model in release R2018a to see if it suggests any modifications to the model either due to new or changed functionality in release R2018a or due to an issue with the original model.
