Is there an error in the "MAT-file Format" documentation in MATLAB about the order of the "Data Type" and "Number of Bytes" fields for compressed MAT-files?
I was looking at the MAT-file format documentation and noticed that the "Data Type" and "Number of Bytes" field are reversed for compressed MAT-files. Is this an error in the documentation?

This is actually not an error. The "Data Type" and "Number of Bytes" fields in compressed MAT-files are reverse in order from non-compressed MAT-files.
