MATLAB: Is MATLAB supported under Windows 7’s XP mode

I am running XP mode on Windows 7 and I would like to know if MATLAB is supported under this configuration.

XP mode on Windows 7 runs Windows XP in a virtual machine. MathWorks does not test or design the MATLAB products for use with virtual operating systems such as VMWare and XP mode, thus virtual operating systems are not supported for use with the MATLAB products.

While unsupported, MATLAB may be able to launch on a virtual operating system, provided the version of MATLAB you have works on Windows XP. Since MATLAB has not been tested on a virtual operating system, it is still possible that even though the system requirements are met, MATLAB may not work.
