MATLAB: Is it possible to print the chart directly to a PDF file in Stateflow

I would like to know if there is a way to export Stateflow diagrams into a PDF file for ease of communication between different groups. Stateflow has the option to print to several different file formats (including Postscript), but not PDF.

The ability to print a chart directly to PDF is not available in Stateflow.

To work around this issue, there are a couple of options:

1. Print the Stateflow chart to a MATLAB figure which can then be exported to a PDF.

2. Use one of several free PDF print drivers (such as PDF995) to print the Stateflow chart to a PDF file using the standard printing interface.

I'm not quite sure that this is what your are looking for, but maybe this could help. You don't need to pass a handle to sfprint, you can directly pass the object, and I think that you could simply do this:

allSubcharts = find(sfroot, 'IsSubchart',1);
for idx=1:length(allSubcharts)
    sfprint(allSubcharts(idx), 'jpg');
end
