i have made a matlab code for image encryption using pixel shifting algorithm. i would like to know how can i implement the code on a hardware? thanx in advance.

You have different options:

Use the MATLAB Coder product to generate C or C++ code from the MATLAB source, and then use an appropriate compiler to generate hardware-specific files from the C or C++ source.
Code in Simulink and use Simulink Coder to generate files. In some cases, for some targets, the generation can be done more tuned for the specific target.
Depending on what you mean by "in hardware", you might be able to use Arduino

Note: neither MATLAB Coder nor Simulink Coder are available for Student Version licenses, only for Academic and Professional / Commercial licenses.

It is possible that I have missed one of the code generation options for use with Simulink.

Since MEX-files are specific to the MATLAB environment, you cannot run them on an embedded target. If you have the equivalent standalone C code equivalent also, you can use the following code style to call the MEX-file during simulation, and the C-code in the generated code:

MATLAB: Does the Matlab Home licence allow me to program a raspberry pi from Simulink

The code generation toolboxes are not available for the Home license in R2016a. However, when you use Simulink to generate code for the Raspberry or Arduino, no additional toolboxes are required. Some people have mentioned limitations about not being able to generate code that can remain when the power is turned of (that is, that the code is not saved with the device), but there is at least one Support posting that would seem to indicate that it can be done.

However, if you are using MATLAB as your control instead of Simulink, I am much less certain that you would be able to create code for Raspberry or Arduino without a Coder license.
