MATLAB and Simulink Student Suite

I bought a student version Matlab R2016b but after the installation I found that there is no Simulink. Could you please let me how to get the Simulink?

If you purchased the Student Version Bundle then you would have a license for Simulink and you would just need to go back into the installer and ask for a custom installation and ask to install Simulink.

However, Simulink does not let you close the model (using the X button) unless the model has not stopped running. So, I'm not sure if I have understood your question correctly.

In my version (R2014a) that reads in part

The Student License and Home License each permit the Licensee to use the Programs on one Computer that Licensee owns or leases provided (i) the Programs are only accessible to, and used by, Licensee, and (ii) Licensee has provided machine-specific identification for such Computer through the registration and activation process. Network installation is prohibited.

(emphasis added)

Your version might have a different restriction. Depending on the exact version you bought, you might be able to run your Student Version on two computers.
