How to write the base notation in Matlab? for example, when we write log of base 2 .

ok I found the answer

'log_2'

Y = log2(X)

Then somefunction.m does not take input arguments for example:

function x = somefunction
x = 2;
end

if you call

x = somefunction()

you get x = 2

you can also just enter

x = somefunction;
