How do I use the I/O blocks in xPC Target Library for data acquisition when using xPC Target 1.2 (R12.1)?
Are there any demos on how to build a Simulink model involving D/A or A/D blocks? For example, I would like to see a demo involving the PCI 6024E I/O board.

Presently, we do not have any demos which show the use of the NI PCI 6024E card. However, a simple model involving these cards can easily be created. You can download the attached model file which uses the PCI 6024 E cards for Analog Output and Analog Input. As we do not have the necessary hardware, we have not tested this model. However, this model should be a good starting point for you.
Please open the Subsystem - External Signal Generator to see the implementation. For your application, you may have to modify some parameters of the card. In that case, please refer to the help documentation which can be reached by entering the following command in MATLAB 6.1 (R12.1):
