Our online store has a list of all of our products for a particular license. The little blue "i" next to some of these products is clickable to reveal the products required for a particular product.
If the activated machine is not accessible to obtain the deactivation string or deactivate MATLAB, it is still possible to deactivate. This is done on the MathWorks License Center.
To deactivate MATLAB from the MathWorks License Center:
Under the last column, "Deactivate," click the blue X in the row of the activation you wish to deactivate.
If validation is current, you can click "Deactivate."
If validation is not current, you will be asked for a deactivation string. Ignore this and click the "Manual Deactivation agreement" above the buttons near the bottom of the form.
Click the "Manual Deactivation agreement" above the buttons near the bottom of the form.
Answer the two questions on the page.
Type your name to confirm that you cannot retrieve the deactivation string.
Click "Submit Agreement to Deactivate Software" to complete the deactivation process.
The ROS I/O package, which was available on File Exchange previously has been removed due to the release of the new product, "Robotics System Toolbox", released in MATLAB R2015a. The new toolbox has the capability to interact with ROS. So, there is no method to have an interaction between ROS and MATLAB before R2015a.
