MATLAB: How to show two different files in a left/right view in MATLAB editor

We want to display two different files in a left/right mode in MATLAB editor. Clicking the buttons in the "Split Document" section of the "View" tab for scripts could help create two views, but with the same file.

You should click the "Left/Right" option in the "Tiles" section of the same tab. Alternatively, if you have multiple files open, you could click on one of the file tabs and drag it to the side of the Editor Window to display the files next to each other.
