MATLAB: How to show .mat file into table ( guide ) in GUI matlab

i have a .mat file ( 30×37 cell ) and i want to show it in the uitable with click on push button. So how to make it ? thank you

Elizabeth - load the mat file (in your callback function) and then update the Data property of the uitable with this new cell data. For example,

 function pushbutton1_Callback(hObject, eventdata, handles)
 % load the data (assume hard-coded filename)
 myData = load('myMatFile.mat');
 % update the uitable
 set(handles.uitable1,'Data',myData.myCellArray);

The above assumes that the pushbutton to load the mat file is named pushbutton1 and that the table to load the data into is named uitable1. When we invoke the load call, myData becomes a structure whose fields are the variables stored in the mat file. So where I access the cell array with the field myCellArray, you would replace this with the true name of the array (named however you saved it as).

Rashmi - if you have created your GUI with GUIDE, then use the handles structure that is the third input to the push button callback to grab the data from the uitable

 function pushbutton1_Callback(hObject, eventdata, handles)
 data = get(handles.uitable1,'Data')

Here we assume that the push button is named pushbutton1 and that the uitable is named uitable1. data is a cell array containing all data from the uitable.

Valentino - just save the structure to handles in one callback so that the other callback has access to it. For example, if the following is the callback to choose and load the contents of a file

 function pushbutton1_Callback(hObject, eventdata, handles)
 % choose the file
 % load the data into a structure myData
 % add the structure to handles
 handles.myData = myData;
 % save the updated structure
 guidata(hObject,handles);

Now in your other callback, you can access this structure directly as

 function pushbutton2_Callback(hObject, eventdata, handles)
 if isfield(handles,'myData')
     % do something with myData
 end

Try implementing the above and see what happens!
