MATLAB: How to save values in matfile as array

i wanted to create a matfile…

stats=[ statmat1 statmat2 statmat3 ……… statmat24 statmat25 statmat26];

i did like this… each statmat1 to statmat26 contains 8 values… now when i save in the above manner the values are getting saved in one single row of matfile having 208 columns….

how can i save each statmat values in one matfile having 26 rows each having 8 column values… please reply…

ALoad = load( 'databaseA.mat' );
BLoad = load( 'datalabelB.mat' );
a = ALoad.a;
b = BLoad.b;
save( 'databaseAB.mat', 'a', 'b' );

Using load with a return value will give you a struct with your data in it, but you can just get the data out of the struct. You can also do this in other ways, probably neater, but this should work and if it is a one-off operation efficiency or neatness doesn't really matter.

Together with using the -append flag when you save()

Make sure you use a different variable name each time you save, or else the new value will overwrite the old value.
