MATLAB: How to save a web url as an image with specific size

Hi,

I have a cell (10 by 1) with 10 urls, each of which leads to an image file. But those images are in different sizes.

I would like to save these 10 urls as images (.png) but into same size, say 300 x300 pixels.

Do I save the images in their original sizes first then resize each of them or can I use 'websave' to achieve 1) save the image and 2) resize the image both in one go?

You will probably need to fetch the images and imresize() them.

Sometimes web sites allow you to pass parameters that specify the size of the output file you want, but there is no standard for that and it is common that you can only specify one of the sizes the site has pre-arranged.
