MATLAB: How to run a .exe file with push button (GUI)

Hello!!

I would like to ask for your help, as I have ran out of options.

On my GUI, I would like to run a Matlab app (.exe file), when user clicks on push button (my GUI it's still a .m file).

I have tried:

run ('path for .exe file')
run tool.exe
tool.exe in the call back of my button

I always get an Error message saying that the file can't be found.

Suggestions on how to solve this??

You need:

system('path for .exe file')

I assume, from the callback syntax, that this is a GUIDE GUI. If so then all your GUI components are stored on the handles structure as fields whose names are the tags that you use in the findobj command so:

handles.h_delta_s_1.Visible = 'off';

etc, should work fine. Or if you are in an older version of Matlab

set( handles.h_delta_s_1, 'Visible', 'off' )

Also don't use global variables. Just dropping jj in from goodness knows where is bad programming practice. If this is your radiobutton then access it also via handles and its tag.
