MATLAB: How to receive an echo from system command and display it as a input dialogue box for user interaction

I am executing a command cmd, through

[status,cmdout]=system(cmd,'-echo');

The execution of this statement sometimes returns a question asking yes or no. How do I make this question appear as a question dialogue box so that the user can choose yes/no. The way my command is written right now, the question yes or no appears on a matlab command window but I want it to appear as a question dialogue box.

The system() command cannot be used for that. You might be able to use Java Robot, but otherwise you need to get into some method of creating a pipe to the subprocess (doing that is not supported at the MATLAB level.)
