MATLAB: How to put a 3D bar graph besides a gray scale image

Hi everybody,

I have a question,I tried to put a 3D bar graph besides a gray scale image, but the color of 3D bar graph changed to gray, do you know how to prevent this so that each graph has its own color?

here is the sample which I've tried;

C = imread('cameraman.tif');

subplot(1,2,1);

imshow(C,[]);

 V=[0  0  11  7   6  3  12   9  12   3  40];

subplot(1,2,2);

bar3(V);

%—————————————
