MATLAB: How to preview a printout of a Simulink model when using a print frame in Simulink

I have created a custom print frame for formatting the printing of a Simulink block diagram. I would like to be able to preview the printout of a model using this frame in order to assist in the design of the print frame.

The ability to preview a Simulink block diagram using a custom frame is not available in Simulink.

To work around this issue, you can select the Print to File checkbox on the "Print..." dialog box and print the model to a PostScript file. You can then view this file in a PostScript viewer (such as GhostView) to examine the output.

The ability to select which blocks of a block diagram should be printed is not available in Simulink 7.5 (R2010a).

I understand that you want to preview pre-recorded video and not a live one. The preview function requires a video input object which is not possible to create using pre-recorded video file.

VideoReader is used for reading and previewing a pre-recorded mp4 file. I am attaching a snippet from the documentation that does the same.

v = VideoReader('xylophone.mp4');
currAxes = axes;
while hasFrame(v)
    vidFrame = readFrame(v);
    image(vidFrame, 'Parent', currAxes);
    currAxes.Visible = 'off';
    pause(1/v.FrameRate);
end
