MATLAB: How to plot the points of intersection between a sliced plane (MRI data) and a line

I have a 3d matrix representing a volume.

I would like to take two points with Data Cursor, plot a line connecting that plot, and then on vertical and horizontal slices of that volume (3D MRI head) see the point where line penetrated the slice.

slice() uses interp3() to extract information for the chosen planes. You can do the same thing.

Or you could call slice() and record the output handles, and then retrieve the XData, YData, ZData, CData properties of each of the surface() that are generated.
