hi my name is ahmad Iam 21 years Iam studying computer science forth year i need help I have a video of the type of avi i do extraction after that comprssion of the pictures when I work for the video again size becomes very high even though the video size does not exceed 4 minutes and size of orginal video is 588kb the combine size 8.7m type jpg what is the solution Thanks

What is your question? If the single pictures are very similar, they can be compressed efficiently. Then it is expected, that a bunch of JPEG files is much larger than the movie file. You cannot find a "solution", because it is not a problem.

Don't use PCA for dimentionality reduction or feature selection in case of videos or images. Instead use some feature extraction techniques in images like HOG features, sift features, optical flow(for videos), etc. Since the datapoints are very less(assuming 25 datapoints), you could use some data augementation techniques for videos.

For example, crop some random sequence from the video for temporal augmentation then use Image augmentation for each frame.

You can combine string values using square brackets. The syntax for imwrite using your variable names is as follows:

imwrite(oneframe, [name, '.jpg']);

Check your workspace to ensure name is the intended file name without a file extension.
