MATLAB: How to get the MKRMotorCarrier library for MATLAB in versions earlier than R2020a

MATLAB

I'm looking to use my Arduino Engineering Kit with MATLAB R2019a, and downloaded the "MATLAB Hardware Support Package for Arduino", but I need to interface with the MKRMotorCarrier library in order to work with my kit. I notice that the "Simulink Hardware Support Package for Arduino" comes with an interface to MRKMotorCarrier, but I want to use it in MATLAB, not Simulink.
How can I get the MKRMotorCarrier interface for MATLAB?

For versions R2020a and later, the MATLAB interface for MKRMotorCarrier is shipped as part of the "MATLAB Hardware Support Package for Arduino".
For earlier versions of MATLAB, you will need to download a second support package in order to use the MATLAB interface to MKRMotorCarrier (Arduino Engineering Kit Hardware Support). Note that there are separate versions of this support package for R2018a, R2018b, and R2019a+.
The "Overview" page for the corresponding support package version on the MathWorks File Exchange contains step-by-step instructions on how to set up the MKRMotorCarrier library. See the following link to the File Exchange to get started:
