MATLAB: How to enter more than four rows in a GUI

I place the table in GUI and by default it gives me only 4 rows and 2 columns. I tries changing the number of rows by inserting more rows in Table Properties. But, it does not reflet in the GUI. Can anyone help me with this?

That is strange... here's my fix;

Go back to "Table Property Editor" -> Select "Show Names below as the column headers"

Go back again to "Table Property Editor" -> "Show Numbered Column Headers"

Volia, your columns have expanded and are numbered. Repeat for rows.

I saw this before, when the format contained a popup menu, but the corresponding values did not contain a default value. So please check if the vector for 'ColumnEditable' has the required length (number of columns of teh data) and if all data contain initial values. See Answers: popup menu in uitable

If you try to reduce the size of a UITABLE object in GUIDE to less than 4 rows or less than 1 column in either of the dimensions, GUIDE will not allow such a deletion, and the deleted dimensions will remain in the UITABLE object.

To work around this issue, follow the steps below:

First, right click on the table and click 'View Callbacks' -> 'CreateFcn'. In the table's CreateFcn code, add the following line:

% set the tables 'Data' property to a cell array of empty matrices. 
% The size of the cell array determines the number of rows and columns in the table.
set(hObject, 'Data', cell(3));

If column and row headers are also being used, they must be set programmatically in the CreateFcn as well:

set(hObject, 'RowName', {'R1', 'R2', 'R3'}, 'ColumnName', {'C1', 'C2', 'C3'});
