MATLAB: How to disable the dialog box for optimization parameters from the TLC callback file in Real-Time Workshop 6.2 (R14SP2)

I would like to disable the user check box "Conditional Input Branch Execution" under "Simulation -> Configuration Parameters… -> Optimization" GUI. However, even though I set this as disabled the property is still selectable from the user interface.

This bug has been fixed in Real-Time Workshop 6.3 (R14SP3). For previous product releases, read below for any possible workarounds:

There is a bug in Real-Time Workshop 6.2 (R14SP2) in the way that it handles the callback during build.

You can receive the correct settings by reselecting your target (TLC) file under "Simulation -> Configuration Parameters... -> Real-Time Workshop -> System target file" which will cause the user interface to update correctly.

The behavior of calling these hook functions independent of the parameter setting 'Generate code only' is expected. When 'Generate code only' is selected, Real Time Workshop will still create the makefile from the template makefile which is part of the 'before_make' phase.

As a possible workaround, modify the callbacks to use "get_param" and determine if the "Generate code only" box is checked or not, and end early if it is checked. For example:

The default memory model for TI C6000 Embedded targets is "Near_Calls_and_Data" as indicated in the TI C6000 compiler settings in the Real-Time Workshop Configuration Parameters dialog. For an algorithm only model, this provides the most efficient code execution. However, for DM642 EVM, addition of Video ADC / DAC blocks causes a link error with the default settings. Documentation on the Embedded Target for TI C6000 is missing information on setting the memory model configuration for models with DM642 EVM video capture and video display blocks.
