I am working with cardiac mri and want to detect the vessel as well as measure vessel width.I have tried various algorithm but failed to remove the structures other than the vessels.Can you please suggest me.Thanks in advance.

Well I did my Ph.D. dissertation on vessel tracking in angiogram radiographs, and if I think that's too challenging a problem for me, then I think you should consider something much, MUCH simpler. We're doing it even now with CT images and it's a very, very challenging problem, not for beginners.
