MATLAB: How to delet a point in Uiaxes thats Handlevisibility is set to ‘off”

I designed an App with the App designer with several UIAxes.

When the user selects one or more samples, they are plotted and displayed in a legend.

Now I would like to show the maximum values. If I put crosses on the maximums, I don't want them to appear in the legend.

Therefor I set the HandleVisibility on 'off'.

My problem now is that when I select other samples and the graph is replotted, the old crosses at the positions of the previously selected samples are still visible.

How can I change this?

cla() and setting the HandleVisibility to 'on' is'nt working.

Control what appears in the legend without setting HandleVisibility to off.

Use object handles to specify what belongs in the legend or turn the the legend's AutoUpdate property off to prevent additional objects from appearing within the legend.

Option 1

Turn off auto-updating so objects plotted after calling legend() do not appear on the legend.

lgd = legend( 'theta 30,FOV 50','theta 40,FOV 20','theta 40,FOV 30','with less error','ideal case', ...
    'AutoUpdate','off');

Option 2

Plot the legend at the end and specify the object handles that should appear in the legend.

h = plot(x,y); 
lgd = legend(h, 'theta 30,FOV 50'); 
% h can be a vector corresponding to each label name.

If you use the DisplayName property, you just need to provide the handles.

h = plot(x,y,'DisplayName', 'theta 30,FOV 50'); 
lgd = legend(h);

Erik,

You need to set the handle visibility of certain lines to off:

set(line_handle,'HandleVisibility','off')

When you set the handle visibility of a line to off, the legend command will not use that line when creating the legend. So if you set the handle visibility of 2 of your red lines and 2 of your green lines to 'off', legend will only use the handles for the remaining red and green line to draw the legend.
